We make it easy being green

About us

We didn’t get into TV to trash the planet – we’re creatives at heart who want to show the world in all its gore and glory. Somehow though we’ve found ourselves in a field that scientists estimate contributes as much to climate change as the airline industry.

Few of us also entered the screen industries to make money – but whether we like it or not, margins are tight, and time even tighter. Improving our environmental street cred tends to be put on the back-burner.

Cut the Carbon was started by experienced TV professionals used to finding solutions to tricky problems. We want to help the industry square what we do with what we love.
