The carbon footprint of post-production is notoriously difficult to measure because of the convergence and the complexity of its workflows.

 

Cut the Carbon worked with post-production house Clear Cut Pictures in a first-of-its-kind research project to measure the carbon footprint of the offline post-production process, resulting in the establishment of the CTC methodology.

 

This methodology can be used to calculate any post-production or VFX process. Cut the Carbon is exploring ways of applying the method throughout the industry.
